DESCRIPTION

Experience the perfect fusion of Microblading and Ombre Powder Brows with our Micro Shading Brows treatment. This technique delivers beautifully defined, natural-looking brows that are perfectly shaded and textured.

THE BENEFITS
  • Combines hair-like strokes and soft shading for a fuller look

  • Enhances brows' shape and color

  • Reduces daily makeup routine

  • Lasts longer than traditional microblading

  • Suitable for most skin types

MOST SUITABLE FOR

Micro Shading is ideal for those who have sparse areas in their brows that don’t grow hair, or for those who want a more defined, makeup look without having to apply makeup each day.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Micro Shading combine the techniques of Microblading and Ombre Powder Brows. Hair-like strokes are added to mimic natural hairs, and soft shading is done to provide fullness and depth.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

The procedure involves minor discomfort, with some redness or swelling after the treatment. Your brows will appear darker right after the procedure but will fade during the healing process to a more natural color.

CARE
Recommendations

PRE TREATMENT

  1. Refrain from any strenuous physical activity 24 hours before the procedure.

  2. Ensure to avoid alcohol and caffeine for at least 12 hours before the procedure. This includes caffeine in decaf coffee and tea.

  3. Protect your skin from sun and tanning for a week prior to the procedure.

  4. Medications and supplements such as Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E, Advil/Ibuprofen, and fish oils should be avoided 48 hours before the procedure as they can cause excess bleeding and potentially affect your results.

  5. If you use Retin-A, discontinue use at least four weeks before the procedure and avoid application on the eyebrow area post-procedure.

  6. Products containing Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA), Vitamin A, glycolic acids, or exfoliating agents should not be used near the eyebrow area two weeks prior to and after the procedure.

  7. If you're not a regular user, avoid Botox and fillers on the forehead, temple, and eye area a month prior to the procedure.

  8. Any brow waxing, tinting, or threading should be avoided a week prior to the procedure. The more natural the hair growth, the better!

  9. Intense treatments like chemical peels, dermabrasions, mesotherapy should be avoided 3-4 weeks before the microblading procedure. Such treatments accelerate skin cell rejuvenation and cause skin irritation, affecting healing and the final outcome.

  10. Feel free to come in with your brows drawn as you normally would or bring in samples of brow shapes you prefer.

  11. Plan your vacations in a way that allows you to avoid water for 7-14 days post-procedure. This includes avoiding excessive sweating, swimming in pools or lakes, saltwater, and extreme sun exposure.

POST TREATMENT

  1. Do not touch the healing pigmented area with your fingers to avoid potential infection.

  2. Apply aftercare gel 2-3 times a day using a clean cotton swab until the procedure area is fully healed.

  3. Avoid showering or bathing for the first 24 hours post-procedure. When showering or bathing, apply a thick layer of aftercare gel to shield the procedure area and prevent it from coming directly under the water stream. Continue this practice until the area has completely healed.

  4. For 7-10 days post-procedure or until the area is completely healed, refrain from applying makeup, tinting brows or lashes, excessive sweating, facials, sun exposure, using soap, sauna, jacuzzi, swimming in chlorine pools or other bodies of water, contacting with animals, or gardening.

  5. Botox should be avoided 2 weeks before and 2 weeks after your appointment. Also, avoid laser treatments around the procedure area as it could alter the pigment color. If facial plastic surgery is planned, it should be completed and fully healed before your appointment.

  6. Do not pick, rub, or traumatize the healing area as this may result in pigment loss along with the removal of crusting tissue.

  7. Starting 24 hours post-procedure, clean your brows every night to remove the build-up of aftercare gel. Gently pat your brows clean with a damp cotton pad, then reapply a thin layer of aftercare gel.

  8. After the procedure area has healed, use a "total sunblock" to prevent future fading of the pigment color.

  9. Refrain from using products containing AHA's (e.g., Glycolic, Lactic acids) on the procedure area. These can fade your pigment color, so always check product labels.

  10. Just like traditional tattoos, it's normal to experience some pigment loss during the healing process. The pigment will appear darker for the first 3-5 days post-procedure, but don't worry! They will gradually lighten and change daily during the healing period.

  11. Once the initial healing period is over and any flakes have fallen off, a shiny layer of healing skin will fully cover the hair strokes, making the tattooed area appear as though it has disappeared. Over the following 1-2 weeks, 40-60% of the pigment will slowly re-emerge in a lighter shade as your skin regenerates.

  12. If you have any questions or concerns, immediately notify your technician.

  13. Should you experience any post-procedure complications like itching, swelling, blistering, etc., immediately stop using the product and contact your technician. You may be allergic to the aftercare product.

  14. Failure to follow these instructions may result in pigment color loss. Remember, all permanent makeup procedures are a two-step process. Schedule your touchup appointment 8-12 weeks after your initial appointment. In rare instances, a third appointment may be required to achieve the desired look. If needed, it should be scheduled within 3 months of your previous appointment. Pricing will be adjusted based on the time frame since your last touch-up.
