MICRO-CHANNELING

Awaken your skin's natural healing power with our ProCell Micro-channeling treatment. Dive deep beneath the surface to inspire collagen production, revealing a complexion that's as firm and youthful as it is radiant.

DESCRIPTION

Transform your skin from the inside out with our advanced Micro-channeling treatment. Using the cutting-edge ProCell Therapies biotechnology, this procedure creates micro-injuries in the skin to trigger your body's natural wound-healing process, resulting in the production of new collagen and elastin for a smoother, firmer, and more youthful complexion.

THE BENEFITS
  • Stimulates collagen production for improved skin texture and firmness

  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and scars

  • Enhances skin tone and texture

  • Helps to minimize pore size

  • Improves the effectiveness of topical product absorption

MOST SUITABLE FOR

Micro-channeling is suitable for individuals seeking to reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture, and reduce scarring and pore size. It's not recommended for those with active skin infections or inflammatory conditions.

HOW DOES IT WORK

Utilizing the ProCell Therapies biotechnology, very fine needles create tiny punctures in the top layer of the skin, which triggers the body to create new collagen and elastin during the healing process.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

While the treatment may cause some redness and a sensation similar to mild sunburn, this usually subsides within a couple of days. Post-treatment, your skin will start to rejuvenate and repair itself, revealing a healthier and more youthful complexion.

PRE TREATMENT

Before your Micro-channeling treatment, kindly follow these guidelines:

  1. Discontinue the use of Retin-A or Retinol products 24 hours before your treatment.

  2. Cease using any auto-immune therapies or products 24 hours before your treatment.

  3. Avoid prolonged sun exposure to the face 24 hours before your treatment. Micro-channeling will not be performed on sunburned skin.

  4. On the day of the treatment, ensure your face is clean and free of makeup.

  5. If you're taking medications such as blood thinners or aspirin, which could increase your risk of bleeding, inform your technician. If you're under a physician’s care and need to discontinue your medication for a few days, always seek advice from your physician before each microneedling appointment.

  6. If you're planning to receive Botox, schedule your microneedling procedure at least 2 weeks post-Botox injections.

  7. Should you experience an active or extreme breakout before the treatment, consult your practitioner.

  8. In case you've used oral isotretinoin, allow a waiting period of 6 months before undergoing microneedling.

POST TREATMENT

After your Micro-channeling treatment:

  1. For the first day, use only the provided products. Rinse the treated area with tepid water, gently patting dry before applying aftercare products. After 24 hours, cleanse with a gentle face wash for the next 72 hours. Always ensure your hands are clean before touching the treated area.

  2. Try to minimize exposure to irritants like dust or pet dander. Be aware that mild allergic reactions may occur within the first 24 hours even to typically non-irritating substances.

  3. Your skin may feel like it's mildly sunburned — warm and tight. Apply provided moisturizer frequently and a cool, damp washcloth as desired.

  4. Avoid makeup and sunscreen for 24 hours. After this period, use a broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen with a minimum SPF 30 for two weeks. A mineral-based, chemical-free option is recommended.

  5. If using makeup brushes, ensure they're new or freshly cleaned.

  6. Initial redness, swelling, and a tight, warm sensation are normal for the first 4 to 24 hours. Longer needling lengths may produce these symptoms for up to 72 hours, along with tiny red flecks.

  7. Slight skin peeling might occur for a few days post-treatment. Mild acne and milia are rare but possible — refrain from picking them.

  8. Temporary Trans-Epidermal Water Loss could leave your skin feeling dry during the first week. Apply the recommended moisturizer frequently to counteract the dryness and enhance the treatment results.

  9. Plan to return for your next treatment in a month or as advised.

  10. Contact us if you experience prolonged irritation.
