DESCRIPTION

Transform your skin with our expertly applied Chemical Peels. Designed to accelerate skin exfoliation, our peels involve the use of professional-grade chemical solutions. This powerful treatment reveals a new layer of skin, resulting in a refreshed complexion and improved skin texture.

THE BENEFITS
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles

  • Improves skin texture and tone

  • Helps lighten dark spots and even out skin discoloration

  • Encourages cell turnover for healthier skin

  • Can improve acne and reduce scarring

MOST SUITABLE FOR

Chemical peels are suitable for people looking to address issues like fine lines, wrinkles, mild scarring, acne, and skin discoloration. However, they may not be suitable for very sensitive skin types.

HOW DOES IT WORK

A professional-grade chemical solution is applied to the skin, which induces a controlled 'peeling' effect. This process accelerates the removal of dead skin cells, revealing a new, smoother layer of skin underneath.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

A tingling or slight stinging sensation may be experienced during treatment, followed by redness. Peeling usually starts 48-72 hours after the treatment and can last for a few days. Post-treatment, your skin will appear smoother, healthier, and rejuvenated.

CARE
Recommendations

PRE TREATMENT

Preparation - One Week Before

  1. Protect your skin from the sun and artificial tanning methods for at least two weeks before your treatment to avoid potential complications.

  2. Discontinue using any topical prescriptions or any products that contain Retinol or Vitamin A for at least one week prior to treatment.

  3. Refrain from waxing, using hair removal creams, or undergoing electrolysis and laser hair removal treatments to allow your skin to rest.

  4. Postpone any Botox or dermal filler procedures until after your treatment.

  5. Avoid other facial treatments or peel procedures to ensure your skin is at its most receptive state for treatment.

Preparation - Day of Treatment

  1. Steer clear of alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), beta hydroxy acid (BHA), and benzoyl peroxide on the day of your treatment.

  2. Discontinue any exfoliating products that might be drying or irritating your skin.

  3. For our male clients, avoid shaving on the day of the treatment to prevent skin sensitivity.

POST TREATMENT

After your Chemical Peel:

  1. Post-treatment, you may experience a mild tingling sensation or warmth on your skin, depending on the peel used. Some acids are neutralized by us, while others are self-neutralizing and continue working even after the treatment.

  2. Around the second or third day, you might notice some peeling or flaking, especially around the mouth and forehead areas. This is a normal part of the process called Desquamation. Ensure your skin stays well-hydrated as it continues to peel for the next seven to ten days. Remember, it's crucial not to pick at the skin and let it flake off naturally.

  3. Try to avoid any heat generation for the initial 48 hours post-treatment. With layers of the skin freshly exfoliated and exposed, your skin will be more vulnerable to burning.

  4. Following your peel, please abstain from using any skincare products that haven't been approved by our team. Your post-treatment regime can commence the following morning. Make sure to use only the approved products to ensure the best possible recovery and results.
